Many people wonder what happens next when you get in touch with a funeral celebrant. Here is a brief overview of what to expect.

As each service is about an individual, there is room for flexibility and and ways of making the service as unique and as special as they are.

I am more than happy to have a chat with you to discuss your requirements and see how I can help you plan things the way you would like.

After we have agreed that you would like me to take the service ,  what happens next?

Firstly I visit you and your family to discuss the life of your loved one. The things they loved or disliked, special memories, their charaacteristics, the special things that made them who they were.

Personal stories and anecdotes all help to build a picture and help create a full reflection of their personality.

With the information you provide, I will write a bespoke and personalised ceremony . It will be all about your loved one and their life.

We can discuss poems or songs you would like featured. If you are unsure of what to choose, I can help you find just the right pieces.

We will also plan whether you or family and friends would like to say anthing or present a reading. Some people like to take an active part with me coordinating the service. Others prefer me to do the entire ceremony. It is entirely up to you.

After this, I keep in touch with you regarding the final details to ensure your loved one has the service that reflects the life they led.

On the day of the funeral, I will work closely with your chose Funeral Director and carry out the service in the manner we have planned.

The important thing to remeber is that this is a personal and bespoke service, no two funerals will be alike, they will be a reflection of a life lived.
